Christmas charity card project.
This project me and my brother Oskar were runing since we were very young. I was only 15 and my brother was 13 years young. Since now im 20 and my brother just turned 18.
When i was 15 years young, i didnt have any idea that this will turn out like it is now. I just liked to paint, and my brother always gave thees cards to some body :)
I was in hospitla when i was 14 years young, and then i realize, the bad situation in hospital. I wasn't in reanimation, but doctor Peteris Klava, intreduced me to reanimation ward. And then, i had a thought that, maybe with this one card, i can impruve the situation in hospital... Just maybe if i try. And slowly year by year, i and Oskar worked, on this hope.
Since then, we have recived, Latvia's pride award, wich Latvia gives to people whit whom they are proud of.
Many and lots of great words, from people all around the world. In past 5 years, with help of all that have bought thees crhistmas cards, we bought equipment of value more than 50 000 euro. |
Feed the children project.
As far as 2008 year. Me and Oskars was working only on Christmas charity card project, and offcourse school.
Affter we recive so many great words from companies, people, doctors in hospital, and also
from the country
we live in we recived Latvia's pride award. Affter this, and 2008 conlusion, we had lots of free time, because the card project is only near christmas, due the hard crisis in Latvia, we didn't know so much, but when we were going, to our country side, we meet tow grand mothers, that were talking about one family, where there are 3 children and mother takes care about them, and she just lost her work, and has no money for feeding her children.
This story took my heart, and i wanted to do something, and we decided with oskar, that we can help this family by buying food, and delivering to this family and we did, this for many times, and then we decided, that we should cary on this project with help of other people. As for now this project is veary young since 2008 of summer, but in past months with help of other people togeather we have helped more than 300 familys in past month. (2009 of may)
we will continue this project, and in christmas we will continue christmas card charity project.
