A joint initiative of the European Journalism Centre and the Open understanding Foundation, the collaborative book exertion was kicked off at the 2011 Mozilla anniversary: Media, freedom and the Web — which gathered reporters, data journalism practitioners, advocates, and journalism and related organizations from all around the world. Over 3 days, participants researched, wrote, and edited chapters of the handbook. Contributors embrace the Australian Broadcasting organisation, the BBC, the Chicago Tribune, Deutsche Welle, the Guardian, the money Times, La Nacion, The N.York Times, ProPublica, The Washington Post, and several others — included Creative Commons. The another leading project I have been tackling this summer is adding “tags” to the CC weblog Posts. As you will caution on the right of the main Commons News page, our many well known tags are visible are now visible, and every independent Post has tags at the bottom of it, which you may click on for more Posts tagged in the same way. An an example, check out the no cost Music Archive tag which displays all the Posts related to WFMU's no cost Music Archive project. I have tagged a compleat year of CC Posts and We'll continue this habit going forward. It is ridiculous. they only do that because they KNOW that persons receive money aid that They will use, hence It is PCC's way of milking the feds for cash. either, at the cascade campus, there are about 40, 000 students, but the parking lot is like a Postage stamp measure, which only spates maybe 100 cars. WTH! so then they want to ticket you for parking in the hood "because it upsets the neighbours" . what a load of crap. pcc does not regard about the neighbours, they simply want you to purchase their costly parking pass(and you'll at no time discover a spot in the lot) and if you do not purchase their pass and they ticket you, they may put a freeze on your account and wont let you register for classes. so yeah, it forces you to pay them. ugh. glad I am nearly done with what I am doing there.
