Hi, I took out a 2 ... ?

Hi, I took out a 2.nd mortgage 6yrs ago for 28k I have repaid 24k, but I still owe 25k because of the high commision cost of 13. twenty-five procent. at the moment my mortgage is underwater, but I do want to negotiate a settlement on my 2.nd mortgage. either of my mortgages are present and I have at no time been not on time paying One of of them. I know that this is going to affect my credit score but my wife score is all around eight hundred so I am not too worried. I simply want to come to a fair settlement sum and receive rid of that 2.nd mortgage and still hold my home. at the moment I am applying for the mortgage help tool program to hopefully come to a fair settlement sum. Is this my only ?

Hi, I bought my home in 2004, 100% financing with a 80% 1.st and 20% 2.nd loan. Got married in 2007, and refinanced in 2008 putting my husband on the the 2 loans but didn't take any cash out. In 2011 we moved out and rented out the home. We are now getting a divorce. I don't want to live in the home since there was a earnest complication with the neighbor and the hood has deteriorated. My ex doesn't want to hold the home, or participate in a not long sale. The home is at least $250, 000 underwater. I have been deliberated to simply let the bank foreclose. I live in California, and the same bank owns either mortgages. Is this my only selection?

I have a first and second with Bofa. I successfully modified the 1.st in 2008. I had to declare bankruptcy in 2009. Chapter seven was discharged. My mortgages were included in the fluxion but I hoped to hold my home so I continued making the payments. Then my partner died and without his income I can no longer afford to make either payments. I stopped paying the second this past Sept. I’m present on the first. I’m seriously underwater on the 1.st so the second is fully not secured. I were told that Bofa could be foolish to foreclose on the second since the first must be paid off with proceeds from the sale and the expenses of foreclosure could make it Also more expensive to them. . Plus They're getting their payments for the first mortgage so why endanger that? I have received caution of the Intent to Foreclose. Maryland is a judicial foreclosure state and has passed laws requiring mediation before a foreclosure may be concluded.
